Excursion Sub-Committee

The Excursion, Entertainment and Gifts Committee is mandated to do the following; Arrange for receptions ,dinners, and entertainment as well as organising trips for interested groups of delegates for leisure and/or educational purposes.

Accompanying persons will have scheduled tours of the following places of interest; Parliament House, the Uganda Museum, the Source of River Nile, Uganda Wildlife Education Center, Namugongo Shrine, The Equator, Kyando Site Craf Villages amongst other places as well as Shopping centers within Kampala City.

ASGP

The Association of Secretaries General of Parliaments (ASGP), constituted as a consultative body of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, seeks to facilitate personal contacts between holders of the office of Secretary General in any parliamentary assembly, whether such assembly is a member of the IPU or not. ASGP membership is thus independent of the IPU.
